They are making a a TV Series of JPod (a Douglas Coupland novel) to air on CBC in Canada next year. In other news, it was Jake's birthday on wednesday and we went on a pub crawl. We're going out for a meal tonight with my friends from work.

my laptop is at 84%, and is steadily going down. don't have a laptop charging unit. sucks.

went to the bank, was too early, went to morrison's, but there was a fire drill, so waited outside with other customers and then we were let back in, and american pie started to play. stayed still and listened to it under a speaker in the ceiling. then went to the bank, and then went to work. wrote livejournal entry.

In a nutshell: I don't like Spudulike. It is worse than McDonald's. Costa Coffee phoned me. Interview on Tuesday 25th 10:30am (I'd imagine, the guy didn't specify, but 10pm is a bit harsh, eh?). Want to drop Spudulike like a hot potato.. Oh wait..

Is mother's birthday today, bought her a fancy shirt, a new book and a box of chocolates. I was worried that the shirt might be ill-fitting, but it fits well, apparently.

sister got loads of sweets from a birthday-handout at school. she'll be hyper.

I am an employed individual. Today gets four stars.

I felt like doing a back-to-school report, then I remembered that I don't actually go to school. It would have been a bit silly, really, I would have had to make stuff up. It's fun and all, but it doesn't really make for a good journal.

I could tell you about my sister's day though, as she was returning to school today. Actually, the house was really quiet and I was sorta bored today without her. She made a new friend called Lola. While it sounds pretty and rolls off your tongue quite easily, it has bad associations, especially that one song, by the Kinks. Don't you think?

Then again, she says she'll be like "Charlie & Lola" like that show on CBBC. Except they're both girls.
